Teaching the Next Generation: Drone Operation at St. Charles Community College

We had the honor of speaking to students at St. Charles Community College about drone operation, focusing on the importance of safety and the real-world applications of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). It was an incredible experience to share our knowledge and expertise with the next generation of drone operators.

During the talk, we covered a wide range of topics, from basic drone functions to advanced techniques for capturing professional aerial footage. We also discussed the essential safety protocols that every drone operator should follow to ensure the safety of both the pilot and those around them.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the session was seeing how engaged the students were, asking thoughtful questions and expressing their interest in how drones are transforming industries like film production, agriculture, real estate, and more. It’s exciting to see young people excited about technology that continues to shape our world.

At Peak Media, we believe in giving back and contributing to the growth of the drone community. Being able to teach about UAS technology and inspire future drone operators was truly a rewarding experience.
